Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This page is maintained by the Project Alibi team to answer common privacy questions about the app. It describes what data the app collects, how it is used, and the controls you have over it.
What we collect
- Account: email address and an optional display name.
- Devices you register: a device name, device type, and a push token used to deliver alerts.
- Access attempt logs: timestamp, status, an optional context label, and an optional coarse location — only when you enable it on a device.
- Vault items: title and encrypted payload. The payload is encrypted client-side; we cannot read its contents.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate the service: authenticating you, listing your devices, delivering cross-device alerts, and showing your own audit trail. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Security
Vault contents are encrypted on your device before upload. Row-level security restricts every row to its owner. You can enable two-factor authentication (TOTP) in Settings.
Your controls
- Export your data from Settings.
- Delete individual devices, vault items, or your entire account from Settings.
- Deleting your account permanently removes your rows from our database.
